Elected Student Officers

Run by students, for students

Liverpool Students' Union is a student led organisation run by four student officers who are elected annually to represent all students at Liverpool John Moores University - whether they be undergraduate, postgraduate, part-time or distance learners.

The four officers take a sabbatical year from their studies to work full time for the union and are responsible for the day to day running and decision making of the Union, but they are ultimately answerable to the student body. Each month they produce accountability reports which are presented at the monthly forums; Better Union, Better University and Better City. These reports highlight the work they have done and the impact they are having. Any student can view the reports and come along to a forum to hold the officers to account or ask them any questions.

Please feel free to get in touch with the officers if you are interested in getting involved in the Union, or have any issues you would like to raise.
