The NUS Extra card for 2009/10 is on sale now . NUS Extra is the definitive student discount card with a range of exclusive discounts, offers and competitions designed to make student life more exciting, more memorable and more rewarding. The card costs just £10, a bargain for all the savings you will make over the year.
How can I get an NUS Extra card?
Getting your hands on a NUS Extra card couldn’t be simpler. Go to www.nus.org.uk and fill in the online form, upload a photo of yourself, pay by debit card and you’re done. Your card will be ready to collect from LSU's reception when you arrive from Welcome Week onwards. Of course, if you haven’t got access to the internet, you will be able to purchase your card during Welcome Week at LSU where you can pay by card or cash.
Demand Extra, Demand More Discounts- New for 2009/2010
Buy the card before the 31st October and you will automatically get a discount booklet worth over £14 for the Liverpool Students' Union, including free entry, free drinks and a 10% discount on LJMU merchandise.
With our strongest offering to date, we have combined some old favourites such as Lloyds, Amazon, Ticketmaster and McDonalds with some brand new and exciting partners, with Odeon, Play.com, Orange and Pizza Hut just a few of the names offering discounts for the coming year.
Along with the return of ISIC for an additional £1 and the PASS and local product opportunities, we are confident that 2009/10 will offer the widest range of benefits to you lot to dat

Plus, for an extra £1, students can benefit from the addition of an International Student Identity Card as part of their NUS Extra card.
With over 40,000 discounts worldwide, the ISIC card is a must-have for any student looking to travel the world, or indeed for international students returning home for the holidays.
