LINKS - First Aid
The student wing of St John Ambulance.
By joining the student section of the UK's leading first aid charity you could save a life, learn new skills, enhance your CV and meet new friends.
LINKS groups are run by students and meet weekly for training and social events.
Members also help provide first aid services to their universities and the wider community, looking after injured people at public events including football and rugby matches, horse racing, theatre shows, festivals, concerts and much more.
In Merseyside, the bigger events include Liverpool and Everton football grounds, Liverpool Echo Arena, The Grand National, Empire Theatre, Creamfields and Mathew Street Music Festivals and university sporting events.
In addition to providing first aid training/cover, St John Ambulance is the UK's third largest youth organisation with over half our members being under 18. We always welcome new Youth Leaders so this is another option for students wishing to become involved.
LINKS regularly have social events and often join with members of Liverpool and Edge Hill Universities for training and socialising as well as with other youth groups in Merseyside and the rest of the Country.
Membership to LINKS First Aid is free however you will still need to pay the £5.00 Federation Fee to the Student Union. To join please click here
