Welcome Fest Terms and Conditions

1. The Welcome Fest wristband is only available to persons over the age of 18 and is subject to a booking fee for online orders
2. The Welcome Fest is only available to students of Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) or Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA).
3. There may be some availability for individual ticket sale but this cannot be guaranteed.
4. If any one of the events is not attended by the student, no refund will be given.
5. Each wrsitband may only be used by one student.
6. If for any reason, a person who has purchased a wristband does not end up going to LJMU/LIPA they will be entitled to a full refund.
7. Wristband events are non-transferrable.
8. Any student seen to be acting violently/inappropriately at any event will be banned from future events and dealt with accordingly.
9. The wristband costs includes entry to the Welcome Ball - no additional cost is incurred         10. Photo ID (such as a passport or drivers licence) is required at all events.
11. The Welcome Fest is only available through LSU via www.liverpoolsu.com or LSU Welcome Crew. Any pack purchased elsewhere will be invalid.
12. Welcome Crew are available to help students find their way to events but we are not responsible for the transportation of students.
13. We reserve the right to refuse entry.
14. A seperate wristband will be required for the Medication night. They will be available to collect from LSU on the night of the event.
15. In extreme circumstances, refunds will be available at our discretion.
16. We reserve the right to change the dates or times of any events and all who have purchased a wristband will be informed of these time changes.
17. All students who purchase a wristband are entitled to discounts on certain events as well as food and drink in the Union, if they fail or forget to show a valid wristband no reimbursement will be available.
18. Students will be informed of what is needed and how to dress (if applicable) for each event, if any student experiences discomfort for not following our guidelines we cannot be held responsible.
19. Wristbands are the responsibility of the student. LSU or LJMU are not responsible for lost wristbands.
20. To guarantee entry arrive at the event before 11pm - after this time you may be required to queue. The I am Austin Event on Saturday 11th September requires you to be there before 9pm to guarantee entry - you may have to queue after this time and miss some of the event.           21. A final timetable will be posted along with wristbands to the address given at the time of purchase - if you wish to collect your wristband please contact Carrie at LSU 0151 231 4900.
