Better City Forum

The Better City Forum is how Liverpool John Moores students shape their community: it delivers their vision for active and involved student citizens.
The Forum makes the changes that students want: the only thing stopping it from doing what you want is because you haven't told anyone yet...
Below is information about our upcoming forum:
Transport Forum: Tuesday 5th March 17:30 Redmonds Building Room 401
We will be looking at transport across the city for LJMU students. What needs improving? What should LiverpoolSU be doing? We have the election of our a new forum chair for 2013/2014. This voluntary position will involve chairing the Better City Forums we host each year, taking a lead on decision making and planning whilst also becoming a trustee on the LiverpoolSU Board. As a trustee here you will help to make decisions that directly affect students lives. If you are thinking of standing for this position and would like some more information please contact Graham Dawson or visit www.liverpoolsu.com/trustee
We will also be catching up on what Curtis Reid your vice president community engagement has been doing since the last forum, giving you an opportunity to hold Curtis to account.
Finally we will be holding a Hustings session for sabatical officer candiadets
Every student is welcome to attend, speak and contribute their ideas; no-one has to have attended before and there are no special tests or rules - just turn up and say what you think in an informal and student-only environment. We also provide a hot meal and refreshments during the forum.
