► Hall Reps
Hall reps are a team of students, elected by students in their halls to represent them so that their needs and wants are met. As well as representation, the hall reps will organise events and activities, encourage volunteering and put together sports teams.
The hall reps will meet regularly with each other to support and share ideas and responsibilities. Hall reps will also have regular meetings with the Community Engagement and Marketing Coordinator to discuss their ideas and findings as well as any issues in their halls.
Through the Hall Rep programme we aim to improve the first year experience for students living in halls by enabling students to have a greater input into what we offer and creating a greater sense of community and pride. We are aiming to increase communication between Liverpool Student’s Union, students living in halls and hall managers.
There will be 4 hall reps in each of the 14 halls involved in the scheme. The reps can be self nominated or nominated by their peers and then voted for by the people in their halls. This role will provide you with a chance to meet new people and have fun whilst helping to boost you CV.
If you are interested in becoming a hall rep Nominations will open on the 4th sept-4th Oct, then hall elections will be held on the 11th Oct at each halls.
