BUCS stands for British Universities Colleges and Sports and is the National body that organises sports leagues between Universities. Teams competing in BUCS aim to pick the best players from our University to represent their sport and in most cases you must enter trials in to be selected.
Intramural Sports are sports leagues where you make up your own teams and compete against other student teams in your chosen sport. The standard of sports varies from very good to complete beginners and everything in-between, so whether you are very competitive or simply wish to play for the sports enjoyment Intramural has a place for you.
Sports Clubs are student led and open to anyone to join. Some clubs like the Cheerleaders are very competitive and compete at the highest level where as other clubs focus mainly on training, instruction and recreation.
