► Hurling Club
Welcome to LJMU Hurling Club Hurling is considered by many to be the worlds fastest field team game in terms of game play. The object of the game is to use a wooden stick called a Hurley to hit a small ball called a sliotar between the opponents goalpost or over the crossbar. We compete against other Universities in a league and in addition organise friendly matches. All players are welcome regardless of your skill or experience. If you are new to the game and would like to learn then come down to our training sessions. Membership to the Hurling club is £20.00 plus £5.00 federation fee to the Liverpool students union.
