The Better University Forum is trying to make a real impact on the lives of students. As we work with students to make the changes that they want to see, we'll update this page with some of our successes.

| Students at Liverpool Screen School said that they had to hand in their coursework at the City Centre campus but they wanted to be able to hand it in where they were taught, at the Screen School in Wavertree | We worked with the students and with the Dean of Faculty of Media, Arts and Social Science, Roger Webster. Students are now able to hand in their work at the Screen School |
| Students said that computer access at the Aldham Robarts Learning Resource Centre was poor and that there were less computers after refurbishment. |
We worked with the LRC who told us that there weren't less computers - but they had been moved around. There is now clear signage directing students to more computers |
| Students were unhappy that only the ground floor of the Aldham Robarts Learning Resource Centre was open out of hours, and that the rest of the library was closed. This meant that it was hard to get a computer, especially around coursework deadline submission dates. |
We have worked with the LRC on this matter and from the 22nd February 2010, both the ground floor and the 1st floor of Aldham Robarts will be open to students out of hours |
