Liverpool Futures Forum - 22 January 2010

The first event of its kind for Liverpool Students' Union (LSU) - Liverpool Futures Forum is your opportunity to find out about the great work LSU does with and for students of Liverpool. The event will review the outcomes of our 3 forums, Better University, Better City and Better Union plus it will launch our Impact Report and Elections Campaign for 2010.
The event is FREE TO ATTEND and LUNCH IS PROVIDED so whether you come for the morning, the afternoon or just for an hour DON'T MISS IT!

11.00-11.05- Welcome from Vice President Academic Quality and Chair of the Board of Trustees Jemma Dudley 

11.05-11.15- Greeting from Vice-Chancellor

11.15-11.45- Launch of Impact Report- Eddie Symondson, President

11.45-12.45- Forums 1 (find out what they've been doing, what students have been talking about, what campaigns are planned and how you can get involved.)

12.45-13.30- Lunch (cooked by Come Dine with Me's highest ever scorer!)

12.30-13.30- Forums 2 (find out what they've been doing what students have been talking about, what campaigns are planned and how you can get involved.)

14.45-15.00- Guest Speaker Luciana Berger:

Luciana has been a Community Officer in a Students' Union, and a member of the NUS National Executive Committee. Luciana has also been a member of the Co-operative party, a school governor and sat on the steering committee for the London Jewish Forum. Recently, Luciana has been contesting a selection process to be the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Liverpool Wavertree for the Labour Party.She will be talking about what Student Activists can acheive, and the importance of student votes.
