LJMU students decide what happens at Liverpool Students' Union. Students decide what we do in the first place and then how well we've done what they wanted. LSU is democratic, and we make our decisions collectively.
Our Liverpool Futures Forum is the once-a-year opportunity when all the power is in the hands of ordinary students. Elected Officers put all the work that the students' union has done in the past twelve months in front of the whole membership - for comment, criticism, approval or rejection.
The Forum features high-profile guests who are also there to speak to students and answer their questions. In 2010, LJMU's Vice-Chancellor and the Luciana Berger, the Member of Parliament for Liverpool Wavertree, spoke to students about their views on the future.
The 2011 Liverpool Future Forum is on 31 January.
