Liverpool Students’ Union knows that student volunteering makes so much happen at LJMU. Students giving their time and effort to good causes – as Course Reps, in sports teams, as society chairs, in the community and many other ways – makes the student experience better for everyone. We want to recognise the excellence and dedication of our student volunteering and we’re very proud to introduce the LSU Awards! We’d like students to tell us about the volunteers who make a real difference to LJMU and the wider community. Use our simple nomination process to tell us who you want to nominate and why they’re so special. Nominations are open now and close at 12.00 on 26 March 2010. We’ll be recognising the volunteers at our special awards ceremony at the Adeplhi Britannia hotel on 15 April 2010. Tickets are on sale now and are available here. All shortlisted nominees will get a free ticket on us!
