The Liverpool Students' Better University Forum agreed a Policy on Cuts at LJMU at its meeting on 2 November 2010.
The Policy is LJMU students' expression of the outcomes they want to see as our University responds to cuts coming from Government.
Our Policy is
“Liverpool Students’ Union is against cuts. We want our university to be completely transparent if they are considering cuts and make all information about finances and quality available to students in advance. We want to campaign against cuts with UCU and Unison. We insist that LJMU management is open and accessible in consultation”
Our campaign against cuts and our more detailed responses to specific cuts at LJMU are also available.
Our campaign leaders for our Policy on Cuts at LJMU are Vice President (Academic Access) Jemma Blease-Dudley and President Lily Rumsey. You can email them if you would like to know more and would like to be more involved in delivering the campaign.
Progress on the campaign will be updated at each meeting of the Better University Forum.
