LGBT Society
Welcome to the LGBT society
The LJMU LGBT Society is here to help integrate any LGBT students into University life and provide a safe platform for them to meet other LGBT students.
The Society Presidents are Martin Lewis & Tracey Escolme - you can contact them at ljmu.lgbt@live.co.uk
The LGBT Society has big plans for the next academic year including social nights in town, trips away, themed events, LGBT-themed DVD nights, campaigns to promote LGBT awareness and acceptance, and involvement in the Rainbow Ribbon Campaign - check back soon for more information about how to get involved!

LGBT Society History:
In previous years, the LGBT Society at Liverpool John Moores University has been a small close-knit network of students, however through hard work and dedication, numbers have risen to make the society very successful. More and more LGBT (and LGBT-friendly) students are choosing to get involved and have their say.
In 2009 the society, alongside the equivalent at the University of Liverpool, organised a demonstration against fascism in Manchester, which was attended by students from all around the North West.
