Bio:
Darren worked at LSU as a placement staff member two years ago and enjoyed what he was doing working and representing students that he wanted to do more and decided to stand for a Sabbatical position. Darren was elected as Vice President (Community Engagement) in 2010/11 working with residents and students in the wider community, campaigning for positive change within communities and making students feel welcomed to a community.

Darren has been elected as President for 2011/12 and is excited about the strategic objectives which LiverpoolSU has just developed from speaking to students and listening to the student voice. The strategic plan comes into action in September 2011 with a very challenging year ahead. Darren is excited to be leading a team for the year ahead.

Darren loves to travel and go on holiday as many times as he can a year, either a hot or cold place as he loves lying by the pool and also skiing as well, so he is an adventurist.

Darren likes to socialise with friends and colleagues and is always up for a laugh.
