Bio:
Tom has worked at LiverpoolSU as a student staff member in the bar/venues for 3 years and enjoyed working with the students on a face to face level. It was here he enjoyed listening and representing students, also last year representing students as a LGBT delegate for the better union forum. After this, Tom decided to do more and stood for a Sabbatical position. Tom is excited to be part of such a dynamic and well-skilled team

Tom has been elected as Vice President Activities and is very excited about the new changes in the provisions for sports clubs and also the provision for hard to reach students such as international, mature and liberation groups.

Tom has been part of many societies in his time at LiverpoolSU including the trampoline club, the snowriders, the climbing and mountaineering club, the LGBT society and has taken part in many demonstrations and protests against fascism, and the raising of the fees cap.

Tom loves to compete at trampolining all over the country and also taking skiing holidays with the snowriders as well reading as many books as possible.
Tom describes himself as an approachable, fun loving person who is always up for a chat and a laugh. Some of tom’s heroes are Bob Dylan and Noam Chomsky
