Kate has been vastly involved with LiverpoolSU for the past three years, representing students by volunteering as a Hall Rep, Course Rep and NUS Delegate, as well as being part of the Lacrosse team, Hockey team and attending sports tour.

After three years of involvement, Kate was driven to stand for election as a Student Officer as she is passionate about working for LJMU students and fighting on their behalf about issues that matter to them. Kate also wants to facilitate more students than ever to get involved with LiverpoolSU and hopes to improve the overall University experience for all students during their time at Liverpool John Moores.

With the introduction of £9000 fees, Kate is excited about working in partnership with the University this year to manage this change and to ensure that students get the best possible experience.

An aspiring journalist, Kate also enjoys horse riding, going to music festivals and travelling in her free time – she even spent last Christmas in Australia! Given three words, Kate would describe herself as sociable, passionate and confident.
