Bio:
Paul has been involved in the union for about three years, both as a staff member and a volunteer. As a staff member he has worked on the bar and has also worked as a representation and democracy co-ordinator which had the responsibility of using the course rep system to identify issues students at LJMU. This level of representation led him to run for Vice President Academic Quality.

This year Paul’s objectives focus around enhancing employability skills of LJMU students as well as improving the teaching and learning experience at the university. He will also be very focused on supporting the Better University Forum throughout the year.

Paul has extensive volunteering experience here at LiverpoolSU, being a course rep and the previous Better Union Forum chair. He has supported Liverpool SU through its various campaigns over the years, such as the feedback campaign, the national bursary campaign and the fight against tuition fees which held the protest in London.

In his spare time Paul presents his own dance music show on Looprevil Radio, the official student radio station of LJMU. He also DJ’s in some of the top nightclubs around the north, performing with acts such as Pendulum and Grooverider.
