Friends Of Falun Gong Society
Falun Gong (aka Falun Dafa) is an ancient meditation practice guided by the universal principles of Zhen Shan Ren (Truth-Compassion-Tolerance).
By the end of 1998, it was estimated that 70-100 million people were practicing Falun Dafa in China, turning their backs on the Communist doctrines of violence and struggle. In 1999 Jiang Zemin issued orders to:"ruin Falun Gong practitioners' reputations, bankrupt them financially, and destroy them physically."
In the last seven years, over 2,900 practitioners have been officially reported as being tortured to death and over a million languish in prisons and labour caps throughout China.
Liverpool John Moores Friends of Falun Gong Society aims to expose this brutal and ruthless persecution as well as allow more people to benefit from this wonderful practice.
