LJMU Cycling Club

The plan is to meet up in The Scholar's Bar in the L.S.U. on a Tuesday evening @ 21:00 to plan weekends rides, have a few drinks and to catch up on previous rides the club has been on. In terms of rides we organise mountain biking trips away every weekend or every second weekend depending on the the commitments of the club officers and van availability.

On the bmx/mtb dirt and jump side of things theres going to be an intro to the local dirt scene for anyone who wants one (on demand) and then a weekly session at either warrington skate park or rampworks can be organised. Road cyclists can also have a weekly session on a demand basis.

Aswell as loads of riding were planning on holding free maintenance sessions once a term.

We are going to talk to a few bike companies about sorting out a club deal on kit but so far we have 20% off LAS helmets and 20% off howies clothing for all club members.

Membership is free for social members and £5 a year for riding members.

Hope that covers the basics, the web site will be updated soon and if anyone has any queries just give us a shout.

See you soon and happy cycling

Steve, Mark and Tom.
