From skydiving to phone drops, hill walks to campaigns everyone is trying to raise and give and us at LSU are no different. Well this year is no different apart from chance to be involved in the RAG weekend.
This will be a whole weekend of madness with wacky games, competitions and exciting nights for everyone to get involved.
The LSU RAG committee will be collecting money all year for local charities, but this cannot be done without your generosity and willingness to help.
Why would I want to be involved? I hear you cry, well that's easy:
1) For a laugh! RAG is designed to be fun, it's a great place to meet people and get involved in your union.
2) For the skills you will gain! Whether you're keen to become a fundraiser when you leave uni, or just want to try your hand at being an organiser/motivator. Plus it will look great on your CV and there's the possibility of gaining a JMU Citizenship Award when you graduate!!
3) Because you really want to help others! Lets not forget the reason we are doing this, the money we raise while having all this fun goes to local and national charities(yet to be decided!)
4) Because everyone is welcome! Whoever you are, where ever you have come from, what ever course your doing, whether you've done fundraising before or not it makes no difference!
So basically there are no excuses!!!!!!
