Hi and welcome to Liverpool Students Union!

Firstly, if this is your first year at Liverpool John Moores, congratulations on being accepted into this exciting and vibrant University! These next few years will hopefully be the best years of your life, and Liverpool Students Union (LSU), the best Union in Liverpool, is here to help that happen!

For those of you returning, welcome back to your second home!
For those of you that don’t know, as a JMU student you are automatically a member of LSU - we are the independent body that represents your interests as a member and offers a wide variety of services and activities. Our aim is to help you fill your potential, both socially and academically. We represent you!

2007/2008 is an exciting year for Liverpool and LSU alike, there are big plans for this beautiful city and here at LSU we have also stepped up to the challenge. Our entertainments will be bigger and better than ever before, there will be more ways to get involved in volunteering, clubs, societies, events, and our award winning BUSA teams. If there is one piece of advice I can give you it’s get involved, it’s the best way to meet people and make friends. You can become involved at any point during your time at University, it’s never too late!

If you ever need anything our doors are always open for advice or just a chat, we can generally be found in The Haigh Building.

So here’s to a great year, looking forward to seeing you soon! ☺.
