LSU has a diverse range of students, all with different needs, expectations and who all may face different obstacles.
Our aim at L.S.U is to promote and celebrate the diversity of our students and fight for the equality of all of us. L.S.U has a number of committees and societies that work hard to raise awareness and promote the uniqueness of our students.
If you feel that you fall into one of these groups or want to participate in working towards a fully inclusive and accepting students’ union, then come and join one of the various groups, these include:
• Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transsexual Group
• Race Equality Group
• Students’ with Disabilities Group
• Women’s Group
• International Students Group
• Anti Racism /Anti Fascism Group
• PPM Group (Part time/ Post Graduate/ Mature Students)
Whether you want to protest against the machine! Or help run awareness campaigns or just to participate in any other way, come and get involved!
For further information about these groups or activities contact Evia Aigbokhae, Vice President Welfare and Equal Opportunities at lsuweop@ljmu.ac.uk or call 0151 231 4904.
